Leadership Team
Nairy is a Director of Cogentum's Australian office. Her practice focuses on using customer led research to drive marketing strategy, innovation strategy and new product development processes.
Over the course of her career she has worked closely with management teams across a wide range of industries including the Life Sciences, Agribusiness, IT&C, Tourism, Professional Services, Education and FMCG. These engagements have resulted in the identification of new opportunities and the development of new strategies, products and services to exploit these opportunities.
Previously Nairy has been both a Principal Consultant in the Australian arm of Strategyn and an Executive Director of ITP Worldwide. Prior to her consulting career, Nairy spent 10 years in Marketing Management, New Product Development and Customer Insight with some of the world's leading FMCG companies building brands that stood the test of time. She has also spent over a decade in academia at both Monash University and RMIT University where she led the delivery of the Marketing Management, Product Innovation and Marketing Research streams and lectured extensively in South East Asia.
Nairy holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Monash University in Melbourne.
Michael is a Director of Cogentum's Australian office. Michael's practice is focused on using customer led research to drive the commercialisation and business strategy of emerging technology firms and the innovation efforts of larger established firms across a range of sectors
Michael has worked for and in a wide spectrum of companies from Global corporates through to start-up companies in the Life Sciences, Cleantech, Financial Services, Energy and Utilities, Manufacturing, Automative and Consumer Packaged Goods. Michael's most recent work has focused on helping companies envision and create new growth and innovation, manage and grow technology platforms and achieve sustainable growth through business model innovation.
Prior to co-founding Cogentum, Michael was a Principal and Senior Associate at two leading consulting firms where he advised on innovation and competing in heavily regulated industries. Before that, he held senior roles within some of the world's most successful marketing and communication firms where he launched a number of high profile new products and brands.
Michael received a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University and a Bachelors Degree with Distinction in Business from Monash University. He currently serves on the advisory boards of several early stage technolgy firms.
