education.au, is a fully funded government ICT agency providing innovative online learning technologies to the education and training sectors.
As funding pressures increased in the sector, the Board and Management team saw a need to reposition the business to highlight the relevance and value of their services to stakeholders and build greater sustainability through new commercial income streams.
The project involved significant internal and external consultation and primary research. The analysis of the research data and intersections of ICT and education trends enabled the business to identify a more compelling positioning.
The project delivered a future growth strategy, marketing plan and business development priorities.
The outcome of the strategic marketing analysis conducted over 6 months, provided a growth strategy and plan to better position education.au in the Australian and international community. The approach taken by Nairy Baghdikian, demonstrated a critical understanding of the political and cultural sensitivities in our sector and resulted significant opportunities for the company to create its own future.
Since the completion of this project 15 months ago, education.au has grown by 50%, and has diversified its client base.
